Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to score a 10 for competing in the Olympics. Bela Karrolyi who was the Romanian gymnastics instructor who would become Comaneci's coach in later years she discovered her when she was six. At first, she competed in the championships for juniors from Romania in 1969, she was 13th. And in 1970, the Romanian gymnast won. The first time she competed in an international meet, which was an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition for countries in the Communist bloc, she took home three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1975 she was named the all-around Junior Champion. At her first competition as a senior in 1975 she beat out Russian Lyudmila Turishcheva the five-time European champion, winning four gold medals and one silver. In 1976 she became the world's first woman to use a backwards-double salto to dismount from the parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager she started appearing on traveling shows like Ice Capades as a skater together with her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6, 1942, on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry during her teenage year. She began her career as figure skater, performing alongside her sibling Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around named Ice Capades. Ice Capades was a show that featured skaters ice skating performed by actors.
